Chaerin laughed at his moment of self doubt and his cute expression of momentary confusion. “Jinja? You must have had an awesome childhood. What do you do for fun now?”, she asked while examining a pair of studded heels. “And what do you think of these?”, she added. A male opinion never hurt after all. “We could go out another time too if you want. Do you dance? We can go to a club and party”, she said with a nod. “Seems legit.”
He shrugged lightly, “I pretty much do the same, just go to different places now,” he exclaimed and studied the shoes, holding a slight look of approval, “They’re interesting,” he chuckled. “Interesting is good.” He hesitated for a moment to try and decide if he was good at dancing, “Not much, but yeah, I suppose we can.”

She nodded slightly, before smiling. “Just thought I heard some people yelling my name.” She threw a few fries into her mouth and picked up the cup, before following him over and filling the cup up. She felt like she should say something, but she didn’t quite know what to say.
He nodded lightly in understanding, before finally reaching the soda machine. He placed his cup underneath the Dr.Pepper label and pressed the button, holding it there until it was filled completely.

Chaerin gawked at the man with wide eyes. She wasn’t sure whether she wanted to laugh at his misfortune or throw her arms around him and pity it instead. Most of all she was just shocked. “Omo! That sounds…intense. I think i would have died on the spot, i have a low tolerance for pain.”, she said as her eyes scanned the bottom row of heeled boots along the wall. “When i was younger i was more of the inside type, you know? Staying home and playing with only the neighbors. I moved around a lot too so i guess i’m making up for it now by going out with friends and stuff”, she said with a laugh. “I get in trouble sometimes, but s’all good. That’s why it’s fun, ne?”
He nodded lightly in understanding to what he was saying, chuckling at the expression she was making, “Yeah, I guess. And I doubt it,” he shrugged a bit. “Yeah„ I guess. I’ve just always been the outgoing type I guess?” he questioned his own words, “It’s always been, outside and playing or eating, or inside asleep,” he explained.

Chaerin’s brow furrowed as he mentioned pain and she couldn’t help but be nosy and ask, “Worse? Omo..like..piercings worse? ‘Cause those look pretty painful too, not even gonna lie.” Chaerin bowed her head politely at the store clerk who welcomed them as they walked in and turned her attention towards the wall of shoes at the back of the store. She began walking towards them on instinct to take a closer look. Feeling the need to explain herself, she turned back towards her new friend and smiled sheepishly. “I may or may not have a bit of a shoe addiction, mianhe.”
He shook his head, “One time I fell outta a tree and broke my arm, but we weren’t anywhere close to a hospital, so someone tied it together between two 2x4’s until we got there for it to be taken care of professionally,” he exclaimed, acting like it was nothing. Once they reached the shoe rack, he laughed, “It’s fine. I have a bit of a thing for ‘em too.”
